Camp Kodenkan North

Since 1974, Camp Kodenkan North has been one of the best and most unique places to train in Danzan Ryu Jujitsu. At Camp, people often find that they have the opportunity to delve deeper into DZR. Professors and senior instructors are readily available for conversation or special classes. There is also plenty of leisure time, good food, storytelling, and more! Camp North is appropriate for all ranks, ages 18 and over (exceptions can be made through the camp director). Kyu ranks yonkyu and below are especially encouraged to attend. Camp North will open Wednesday, June 1 for dinner, with classes beginning Thursday morning, June 2. Classes will run all day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and until lunch on Sunday. Classes on Thursday will be for brown and black belts only. There is also typically a class after dinner in the evenings. Classes on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be available for all ranks, including classes for brown and black belts. Black Belt exams will be held on Thursday only, but candidates are welcome to arrive on Wednesday afternoon in order to be well rested and prepared for exams on Thursday. Meals will be provided for black belt exam candidates.
